The instructor is a great guide and resource; but, you are the only one who knows what your body is feeling. Don’t go beyond a good stretch.
There is no class at RiversZen where the end goal is pain.
Even in the Yogilates class, Kim may be a real drill sergeant (she is married to a Marine so that could be part of her engaging spirit); but, that doesn’t mean she expects you to listen to her rather than your own body.
The beauty of going to any class is testing the experience.
Does the instructor resonate with you?
Does the energy of the room work for you?
You may find that you really like Yogilates on a day that has been very frustrating or a Restorative Stretch Class exactly what you need to bring you down and prepare for the best night’s sleep.
Allow the classes to round out your day.
